Key Responsibilities
- Receive training on spatial genomics sample prep, library prep training, as well as ultra-high throughput NGS sequencing workflows
- Work together with Research Scientist on assay development in areas such as spatial genomics and single cell technologies
- Perform sample QC, prepare sequencing libraries, and perform ultra-high throughput sequencing according to SOP for operation projects
- Analyze sequencing data and report results in a timely manner
- Assist in troubleshooting and ensuring proper documentation of all processes
- Interact with bioinformaticians and evaluate bioinformatics output
- Maintain lab equipment & documentation in accordance with quality requirements
- May need to perform shift duties as required
Requirements
- Degree in Life Sciences or a related field
- A few years of related working experience
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Hand-on experience with spatial genomics and related technologies
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, proactive, can-do attitude
- Keen to learn and good team player
- Comfortable with shift work
