Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end HR support for SEA countries (e.g. Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, India)
- Act as first point of contact for employees and managers on HR policies, employee relations, and HR processes
- Support performance management cycles, promotions, confirmations, and employee movements
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal HR policies; liaise with local vendors where needed
- Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and contract renewals
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation across multiple jurisdictions
- Manage full recruitment lifecycle for SEA roles: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce plans and hiring needs across markets
- Develop sourcing strategies for diverse talent pools, including direct sourcing, referrals, and agencies
- Coordinate with recruitment agencies and manage recruitment costs and timelines
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment campaigns in the SEA region
- Support regional HR initiatives such as policy rollouts, HR system implementation, and process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
- 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience, with hands-on recruitment exposure
- Prior experience supporting multi-country SEA operations is highly preferred
- Working knowledge of SEA labor laws and HR practices (depth in 1–2 countries, exposure to others)
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across countries
- Strong recruitment, interviewing, and candidate management skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience in startups, biotech, or fast-growing regional companies
- Familiarity with HRIS / ATS systems
