Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update vessel schedules and related commercial documentation
- Collect, consolidate, and submit monthly Bulk Rate Movement (BRM) forecasts from relevant teams
- Prepare and distribute Monthly Productivity Incentive Points reports to shipping agents
- Track and maintain charter rate data and related commercial metrics
- Manage and organize construction project documentation
- Monitor and drive adherence to project timelines across assigned initiatives
- Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Engineering, Finance) to gather updates and resolve blockers
- Identify delays early and escalate appropriately
- Maintain project schedules and ensure stakeholders stay accountable to agreed deadlines
- Serve as a point of contact between Commercial and other internal departments
- Follow up on outstanding items and chase information with discipline and professionalism
- Prepare progress reports and status updates for management review
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Maritime Studies, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Candidates with background in project management/ construction is also welcome.
- 1–2 years of experience in commercial operations, data analysis, or customer-facing roles.
- Familiarity with the maritime, port operations, or logistics industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, database management, and generating commercial and operational reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing stakeholders at all levels.
