Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the end-to-end management of complex bids, preferably in large-scale solution and system integration opportunities
  • Ensure a consistent bid management process across all bids using established bid management tools
  • Understand client’s RFP/tender objective, customer’s pain points and Thales’ competitive advantage
  • Work closely with different internal stakeholders to develop a winning proposal, aligning customer’s needs and Thales’ solutions
  • Manage communications between internal stakeholders and customers on matters pertaining to the bid (e.g. tender clarifications, corrigendum, cost + price review, etc)
  • Manage the creation of the bid deliverables and ensuring review and governance, leading to the creation of a high quality proposal
  • Assist Sales/ BD forces in Qualifying Opportunities
  • Actively participate in defining and then implementing winning strategies and capture plans
  • Manage Bid Budget spending by bid resources and support functions

Requirements

  • Good degree in Engineering/Business with at least 5 years of experience preferably in Security or Defence sector
  • Result oriented, strong drive in a team context
  • Technical background with strong inclination for commercial exposure
  • High level of attention to details
  • Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated international exposure
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Experience with Strategic long cycle selling and dealing with public procurement processes
  • Dealing with complex global matrix organization
