Key Responsibilities
- Set and manage quality key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure adequate resourcing for the quality team
- Lead quality initiatives and serve as a compliance advisor for continuous improvement projects
- Promote a culture of quality and ethics across the organization through training and engagement programs
- Facilitate and lead customer and regulatory audits and assessments effectively
- Establish and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with AS9110 and Part 145 standards
- Develop and execute an annual internal audit plan to ensure regulatory compliance and timely closure of findings
- Maintain and update the Quality Manual and Maintenance Organization Exposition for Civil Aviation Authority approval
- Review supplier Vendor Work Instructions (VWI) to ensure conformity with company scope and regulations
- Identify cybersecurity hazards and evaluate mitigation actions for test software and equipment
- Analyze quality data to develop long-term strategies and programs for the maintenance organization
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Quality, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience in an Avionics, Electronics, or Mechanical workshop production environment
- Minimum 8 years of Quality Management and Auditing experience
- Proven experience in Management of Quality Teams within an MRO capacity
- Extensive experience in procedural and process development
- Qualified Lead Auditor
- Specific knowledge of AS9110C and SAR Part-145 regulations
- Experience adapting Part IS and SMS as part of IA9100 implementation
