Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of AI Architects, Engineering Program Managers, Prompt Engineers, AI Prototypers and Technical Product Managers
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous learning within the team
- Build streamlined processes, onboard new tools, and enable effective resource planning
- Proactively identify issues, manage risks, identify mitigations, marshal resources, and re-plan as needed
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field and identify relevant technologies for implementation
- Collaborate effectively with Machine Learning and Software Development Engineers to build futureproof products
- Define product vision and strategy for Conversational and Generative AI within Channel Sales and beyond
- Develop a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with user needs, market trends, and technological advancements
- Own the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping to launch and post-launch optimization
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform product iterations and improvements
- Create compelling product documentation and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Machine Learning and Software Engineering
- Successful launch of large scale consumer facing Commerce products worldwide
- 5+ years leading product and program teams and managing direct reports
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning or a related technical field
- Successful track record of working closely with design and engineering teams during the full product lifecycle
- Experience positioning and launching of new AI powered products
- Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
- Demonstrated ability to develop compelling talking points and stories about new AI powered product and technologies
- Strong experience leading cross-functional initiatives with a clear impact on the direction of products
- Strong organizational skills, able to handle ambiguity with experience in thriving in a startup environment within a large organization
- Strong python and software development coding experience, with the ability to build 0-1 product by oneself if needed
- Proven customer focus and curiosity
- Demonstrates attention to detail and enjoys both hands-on work and high-level strategic thinking
