Key Responsibilities
- Build strong customer relationships by understanding operational challenges in the marine industry and recommending Emission Saving Technology that meet their needs.
- Serve as a regional Subject Matter Expert for Propulsion Optimization and EST technologies, promoting solutions differentiators and supporting sales team with clear, compelling solutions value propositions.
- Develop, execute and track strategic sales plans for assigned regions, driving market participation, profitability and overall growth in line with business budget and priorities.
- Expand the customer base by identifying new opportunities and cultivate strong, trust-based relationships within the region to adopt Propulsion Optimization and EST solutions.
- Acts as a collaborative bridge between Regional Sales Team and Product Team, communicating commercial feedback and product development requirements.
- Partner with leadership to share regional insights, collaborate with other Subject Matter Experts to support product initiatives, and contribute to broader go-to-market strategies.
- Build and strengthen relationships within the agent network and work effectively with diverse internal and external partners.
- Leverage tools such as Poseidon and Marine Tank Management sales policies to support forecasting, budgeting, and reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements
- Knowledge of marine propulsion control systems, or a sailing background with strong knowledge of propulsion control systems, with an aptitude for sales.
- Skills in customer engagement, key account management, and value-focused selling.
- Ability to thrive in a matrix environment and collaborate across teams and functions.
- Lead and motivate the team effectively in achieving the annual Trade Order and Sales targets.
- Strengths in analytical thinking, problem-solving, practical learning, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner internally and externally.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in international sales of technical products, particularly in propulsion control or optimization.
- Sailing or marine operations experience will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
