Key Responsibilities

  • Collect tools/items from store and retrieve/return calibration due tools from and to cells
  • Process and inspect tools in the incoming Kanban
  • Perform calibration of in-house fixtures and gauges using manual method or CMM
  • Inspect new tools for acceptance based on inspection reports and issue new tools to process owners
  • Perform total preventive maintenance on machines as required
  • Maintain reference equipment calibration per ISO17025 requirements
  • Perform tool repair on out-of-dimension tools
  • Troubleshoot and repair damaged or nonfunctional tools
  • Replace standard parts on damaged or nonfunctional tools
  • Perform modification works or simple tool fabrication as assigned

Requirements

  • Diploma in Precision Machining, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in tools repair or calibration
  • Ability to read technical drawings to perform calibration
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime as needed
