Key Responsibilities
- Drive supplier engagement on continuous manufacturing & process improvement, quality initiatives and new capabilities ahead of need.
- Plan and drive for New Product Introduction activities and Ramp Up readiness with external manufacturing partners and AMD internal stakeholders.
- Drive material suppliers on issue resolution and issue prevention.
- Plan and execute change management from internal or external parties.
- Work cross-functionally to develop project schedules, budgets, technical deliverables and monitor progress to ensure goals are met.
- Drive predictable outcome and stop in time with Manufacturing Data Analytics.
- Implement supplier governance framework with regular reviews and drive continuous improvement.
- Involve in regional supplier management.
- Overseas travelling as required.
- Assist in additional duties as deemed fit by supervisor.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge in Semiconductor Backend Materials (added advantage with HVM supplier management or Manufacturing experience in TIM material & related package interaction)
- Working experience in Backend Semiconductor.
- Track record of supplier management with manufacturing excellence.
- Good leadership, executive communication and interpersonal relationships.
- Strong analytics skill to support decision making.
- Familiar with tools (AI-coding, JMP, Power BI, failure analysis knowledge, package reliability knowledge) and industry standard (ESD, Jedec, ISO/IATF 16949).
- Bachelor/MS degree in Material Science or Chemical Engineering.
