Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy impactful machine learning models using large-scale datasets to drive key business outcomes in global sales.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams (sales, engineering, analytics) to deliver ML-driven features enhancing Apple’s global sales initiatives.
- Apply advanced modeling techniques, including traditional ML, optimization, and transformer/LLM architectures to real-world problems.
- Develop innovative validation frameworks to rigorously assess model performance and ensure production robustness.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-impact technical machine learning solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in machine learning, AI, data science, or related fields.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, or equivalent experience.
- Strong background and hands-on experience applying operations research techniques (e.g., linear programming, dynamic programming) to complex sales problems.
- Deep understanding of ML principles: supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and graph neural networks.
- Exceptional programming skills in Python for developing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Proven ability to build and deploy ML models successfully at scale in production environments.
- Strong competency in writing complex SQL queries for large-scale data extraction and analysis.
