Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial assessment and positioning for projects entering EDDC's portfolio

  • Drive BD & licensing and spinoff discussions in collaboration with A*Innovation & Enterprise and A*STAR Legal counterparts
  • Drive the set up of contracts such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, Material Transfer Agreements, Research Collaboration Agreements, Licensing Agreements together with A*STAR counterparts

Requirements

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in pharma/biotech business development, licensing, strategy consulting, venture, or related commercial roles
  • Past exposure to deal processes (in-licensing, out-licensing, co-development, or strategic alliances)
  • Understanding of drug development pathways (preclinical to clinical), regulatory considerations, and IP strategy
  • Able to assess projects objectively, connecting scientific data to market opportunity and/or unmet needs
  • Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders internally and externally
  • Can manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
  • Self-driven and proactive
