Key Responsibilities

  • Support the APAC QHSE Lead in the development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the client's H&S management system and strategy.
  • Manage HSE programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and needs of client accounts.
  • Execute plans, playbooks, and procedures for the assigned account or market area.
  • Provide competent technical advice on workplace safety and health matters in accordance with Singapore WSH legislation.
  • Fulfil statutory duties as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) where required.
  • Act as Fire Safety Manager (FSM) for designated premises, including fire drills, inspections, and emergency preparedness.
  • Develop and maintain the Fire Emergency Plan and emergency response procedures.
  • Coordinate risk assessments, emergency drills, and safety training programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with MOM and SCDF audits, inspections, and reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • MOM-Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) or eligible for registration.
  • Valid Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification issued by SCDF.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline (preferred).
  • NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent (advantageous).
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience performing WSHO and FSM-related duties.
  • Experience engaging with regulators and managing compliance audits.
