Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical supervision for the operation, maintenance, and repair of all critical environment systems to maintain 100% uptime for power systems.
  • Adhere strictly to all quality, health & safety, and environmental policies within the Data Centre domain.
  • Conduct inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
  • Troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend necessary system upgrades for critical infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain all site electrical procedures including EOPs, SOPs, and MOPs consistent with client standards.
  • Manage vendor and contractor activities to ensure work meets stringent Client standards.
  • Respond to customer service requests, including emergency calls on a 24x7 basis.
  • Produce monthly executive reports for clients and monitor operational characteristics like load and capacity.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree Level in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years direct industry experience OR a minimum of 5 (Degree)/8 (Diploma) years' experience at Electrical Technician level in a critical environment combined with supervisory/management experience.
  • Excellent understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in a data center environment (Feeders, Transformers, Switchgear, UPS, Battery banks, ATS/STS units, PDU units, generators, DRUPS).
  • Experience with complex automatic control equipment including relay logic, PLCs, and building management systems integration.
  • Experience with medium voltage distribution systems, associated switchgear, and protection equipment.
  • Proficiency in MV and LV switching procedures and safety protocols; preferably a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and contractors.
  • Computer literate with the ability to compile reports and trend operational data.
  • Proven ability to work in a 24/7 environment, willing to work outside of normal hours for technical issue resolution.
