Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure engineering activities are managed within bid/project constraints, approved architecture, design policy, contracts, and company quality requirements.
  • Lead discussions and co-engineering between internal teams, vendors, and customers to analyze, prioritize, and validate stakeholder requirements.
  • Ensure engineering scope, plans, and activities meet customer requirements and are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality.
  • Oversee and approve evaluation studies on design alternatives with the Design Authority, advising both customer and internal technical teams.
  • Define the engineering work breakdown structure, project organization structure, task schedule, engineering KPIs, and associated tasks.
  • Define the strategy for development, build increments, validation, and project commissioning.
  • Manage engineering risks & opportunities during bids and project phases, guaranteeing program commitments to subcontractors and partners.
  • Perform periodic reporting to internal senior management and customers using methodologies like Chorus, SAFe/SCRUM.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Senior Engineering or Project Management role.
  • Proven experience working on IT solution delivery projects.
  • Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Good knowledge on how large projects are managed.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong liaison and stakeholders management skills.
  • Motivation to be involved in all phases of a project life cycle, from bids to completion.
