Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end configuration, implementation, and optimization of the assigned Workday module.
- Partner with HR process owners to translate complex business needs into effective system designs.
- Define module-specific configurations, workflows, security roles, and business rules within Workday.
- Lead Fit Gap analysis to ensure optimal utilization of Workday capabilities for the specific domain.
- Coordinate with testing teams to develop module-specific test scripts and validate outcomes.
- Drive user adoption through the development and delivery of targeted training sessions and documentation.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and document post go-live issues related to the module.
- Provide expert input on integration points between Workday modules and third-party systems.
- Stay current with Workday feature releases relevant to the module and plan enhancement rollouts.
Requirements
- 5 – 10 years of hands-on implementation and support experience in the specific Workday module.
- Strong understanding of HR processes directly relevant to the functional area (e.g., absence policy design, compliance training).
- Demonstrated ability to lead module delivery from initial requirements gathering through go-live.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across HR, IT, and business functions.
- Experience with Workday modules including Absence, Time & Labour, Learning, Expenses, Workforce Planning, Integration Middleware, or Historical Data Migration.
