Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Manager, System Management in major contract negotiations for outsourcing, repair and logistics support, utilizing mechanisms like Performance-Based Contracting and Framework Agreements.
  • Build collaborative relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers to ensure best value for SMRT TRAINS.
  • Perform and analyze cost-effective options to support management and support of SC&C system, shaping and overseeing development and transition of outsourcing programs.
  • Work with SMRT Business Units to shape outsourcing strategies over the longer term.
  • Work with Project Team to ensure seamless renewal through tightly integrated induction and retirement plans.
  • Support Business Units on Project Justification Papers (PJP) and Master Replacement Program (MRP) requirements.
  • Strategize and drive development of Integrated Product Support Plan with Project Team.
  • Analyze resources and propose ways to optimize fleet availability by maintaining holistic overview of supply chain requirement.
  • Work with SMRT Business Units to develop obsolescence management strategies to ensure sustainable support for intended service life.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Prior knowledge of Reliability Engineering (e.g., MTBF, MTTR).
  • Must be a team player.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to develop affinity with various stakeholders.
  • Prior operational experience in 1st line (e.g. Organisational / frontline) and 2nd line (e.g. Intermediate / workshop) maintenance is a plus.
  • Prior knowledge in Management Information System (MIS) such as SAP or Maximo is a plus.
