Key Responsibilities
- Assist Manager, System Management in major contract negotiations for outsourcing, repair and logistics support, utilizing mechanisms like Performance-Based Contracting and Framework Agreements.
- Build collaborative relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers to ensure best value for SMRT TRAINS.
- Perform and analyze cost-effective options to support management and support of SC&C system, shaping and overseeing development and transition of outsourcing programs.
- Work with SMRT Business Units to shape outsourcing strategies over the longer term.
- Work with Project Team to ensure seamless renewal through tightly integrated induction and retirement plans.
- Support Business Units on Project Justification Papers (PJP) and Master Replacement Program (MRP) requirements.
- Strategize and drive development of Integrated Product Support Plan with Project Team.
- Analyze resources and propose ways to optimize fleet availability by maintaining holistic overview of supply chain requirement.
- Work with SMRT Business Units to develop obsolescence management strategies to ensure sustainable support for intended service life.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Prior knowledge of Reliability Engineering (e.g., MTBF, MTTR).
- Must be a team player.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Able to develop affinity with various stakeholders.
- Prior operational experience in 1st line (e.g. Organisational / frontline) and 2nd line (e.g. Intermediate / workshop) maintenance is a plus.
- Prior knowledge in Management Information System (MIS) such as SAP or Maximo is a plus.
