Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities for DRUPS (Dynamic Rotating UPS) systems at customer sites.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance programmes at various customer locations.
- Attend to on-site troubleshooting and corrective repair works to restore system functionality.
- Identify current and potential issues during preventive maintenance activities.
- Provide timely feedback and propose technical solutions to back-office teams to support issue resolution and customer discussions.
- Generate, maintain, and submit clear and concise service documentation, including service reports, for every service activity performed.
- Support additional customer service requirements as needed to ensure service excellence.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in M&E engineering service, maintenance, or project management roles.
- Prior exposure to service or maintenance environments supporting critical equipment is preferred.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical systems.
- Understanding of electrical rotating machine functionality and service methodologies.
- Ability to diagnose issues and propose technical solutions in high-reliability service environments.
- Comfortable working independently on-site while coordinating with internal teams.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership as the person in charge on-site.
- Detail-oriented with a disciplined approach to service documentation.
- Customer-focused mindset with professional communication skills.
- Able to respond effectively to service demands and operational challenges.
- Prior experience with mtu engines or power generation systems.
- Knowledge in hybrid, electrified, or digitalized power solutions.
- Team leadership or mentoring experience.
- WSQ/NEBOSH safety certifications or equivalent.
