IndustrialFull-timeGeneral
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative process concepts for offshore substations and new energy systems (e.g., hydrogen, ammonia, carbon capture, alternative fuels).
- Lead pre-FEED and FEED studies for offshore energy transition projects, including technology screening and feasibility analysis.
- Design and optimize process systems using PFDs, UFDs, and P&IDs tailored for offshore substation applications.
- Conduct process simulations and optimization studies using Aspen HYSYS or equivalent tools.
- Prepare heat and material balances to support safe and efficient operation under varying conditions.
- Create process safety documentation, including ESD hierarchies and API 14C-compliant diagrams for offshore installations.
- Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, QRA and other risk and safety studies for offshore facilities.
- Review vendor design documents and perform technical bid evaluations for process and substation-related equipment.
- Develop equipment datasheets, operating procedures, and technical reports aligned with offshore and new energy standards.
- Monitor progress of process design deliverables, ensure schedule adherence, and mentor junior engineers.
- Estimate utility/chemical consumption and prepare load lists in compliance with project and offshore regulatory standards.
- Ensure designs meet relevant offshore and marine standards (IMO, NORSOK, API, UK HSE, USCG) for substations and energy systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong focus on concept development, pre-FEED, and FEED phases.
