Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and document solutions to meet customer requirements, whilst ensuring the integrity of the System functional baseline and architecture
- Define solutions that deliver the best trade-off between requirements, cost, schedule and risk, which meet our customer’s needs
- Ensure the transversal constraints related to the function are considered (Safety, Human Factor, Performance, Security)
- Proactively participate in the technical reviews, including internal and with the Customer
- Proactively participate in technical working groups both internally and externally to define technical solution
- Proactively participate in PI planning and backlog refinement including contributing to the effort estimation
- Prepare Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Problem Change Requests (PCRs)
- Develop and manage traceability of requirements using DOORS, including the Functional, Allocated and Product baselines
- Perform peer reviews of engineering documentation written by other team members
- Support your Squad members (software, integration and verification)
- Make recommendations on strategies to improve performance or productivity
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
- Postgraduate studies in Systems Engineering (Desirable)
- Proven experience in Systems Engineering (5+ years) including; Requirements, Design, Integration and Verification and Validation
- Experience with Systems Engineering Standards eg. ISO/IEC15288
- Proven experience in the ATM Domain and related standards eg. ICAO, Eurocontrol
- Proven experience in the development of products and projects in a variety of methodologies, with a particular focus on iterative/agile development
- Experience with Safety, Security and Human Factors standards and practices
- Demonstrated ability to achieve effective outcomes in a multidiscipline, multi-culture environment
- Coaching and sharing of his/her know-how
- Capability to manage various stakeholders having different objectives
- A positive attitude combined with excellent interpersonal and motivational skills
- Comfort in facing and managing complexity
- Sound judgement and independent decision-making capability where necessary
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Experience in System Engineering tools eg. DOORs, Polarian, Jira
- Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering and tools eg. Capella, Enterprise Architect
- Experience in working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
