Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and document solutions to meet customer requirements, whilst ensuring the integrity of the System functional baseline and architecture
  • Define solutions that deliver the best trade-off between requirements, cost, schedule and risk, which meet our customer’s needs
  • Ensure the transversal constraints related to the function are considered (Safety, Human Factor, Performance, Security)
  • Proactively participate in the technical reviews, including internal and with the Customer

  • Proactively participate in PI planning and backlog refinement including contributing to the effort estimation
  • Prepare Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Problem Change Requests (PCRs)
  • Develop and manage traceability of requirements using DOORS, including the Functional, Allocated and Product baselines
  • Perform peer reviews of engineering documentation written by other team members
  • Support your Squad members (software, integration and verification)
  • Make recommendations on strategies to improve performance or productivity

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
  • Postgraduate studies in Systems Engineering (Desirable)
  • Proven experience in Systems Engineering (5+ years) including; Requirements, Design, Integration and Verification and Validation
  • Experience with Systems Engineering Standards eg. ISO/IEC15288
  • Proven experience in the ATM Domain and related standards eg. ICAO, Eurocontrol
  • Proven experience in the development of products and projects in a variety of methodologies, with a particular focus on iterative/agile development
  • Experience with Safety, Security and Human Factors standards and practices
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve effective outcomes in a multidiscipline, multi-culture environment
  • Coaching and sharing of his/her know-how
  • Capability to manage various stakeholders having different objectives
  • A positive attitude combined with excellent interpersonal and motivational skills
  • Comfort in facing and managing complexity
  • Sound judgement and independent decision-making capability where necessary
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Experience in System Engineering tools eg. DOORs, Polarian, Jira
  • Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering and tools eg. Capella, Enterprise Architect
  • Experience in working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Comply with all relevant company Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies and framework and work practices
