Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex employee relations investigations with limited supervision, ensuring confidentiality, neutrality, fairness, and adherence to best workplace practices.
  • Independently handle allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, bullying, misconduct, and bias across Southeast Asia locations (Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Japan).
  • Conduct robust and timely investigations into employee complaints, assessing the scope of alleged misconduct and partnering with legal counsel as needed.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SPOC) for APJ Leadership, providing strategic ER advice and consulting on difficult employee conversations.
  • Articulate local country laws and provide guidance to leadership regarding labor compliance and regulatory changes.
  • Partner with the Corporate Investigations team on local employee investigations and assist in corrective actions, including warnings or performance improvement plans.
  • Review and enhance company policies periodically, collaborating with legal advisors to ensure compliance with current legislation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree specialized in Human Resources.
  • Proven ability to exercise high levels of discretion regarding sensitive employee matters.
  • Demonstrated strong professional judgment and emotional intelligence when handling conflict.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality throughout all processes.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional partners in HR, Legal, and business units.
  • Experience operating within a high-growth, fast-paced matrix environment.
