Key Responsibilities
- Integrates QHSE practices into daily work activities and takes ownership of QHSE as a line responsibility
- Promotes and reinforces the Vision Zero mindset to achieve and sustain an incident‑free workplace
- Complies with safety regulations, HIRA requirements and Seatrium Life Saving Rules and proactively manages high‑impact risks
- Recognizes safety as a prerequisite to work and understands the consequences of unsafe acts and violations
- Demonstrates safety leadership by promoting safe work behaviours, acting as a role model, and supporting Workplace Health and Total WSH initiatives
- Observes, reports and intervenes in unsafe acts and unsafe conditions, ensuring timely incident reporting
- Conducts, reviews and implements risk assessments specific to work activities prior to execution
- Complies with the HSE Manual and Environmental Management Plan and manages environmental aspects and business risks within the department
- Maintains and promotes mutual respect, care and harmonious working relationships through appropriate workplace behaviour
- Acts as an ambassador of the Mutual Respect & Care Guideline and consistently leads by example
- Enforces Mutual Respect & Care standards by intervening in undesired behaviour and resolving employee disputes

Requirements
- Possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years experience in commercial or quantity surveying roles, preferably in conversion or EPC projects
- Good knowledge of re‑measurement, BOQ preparation, MTO/RTO, cost control and contract administration
- Experience in reviewing subcontractor measurements, claims and progress payments
- Familiar with SAP or similar systems for material tracking and reconciliation
- Solid understanding of safety regulations, HIRA, Life Saving Rules and QHSE requirements
- Ability to conduct and review risk assessments related to work activities
- Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal teams
- Demonstrates safety leadership, mutual respect and professional workplace behaviour
- Able to handle performance monitoring and basic people management matters
- Good analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Willing to travel overseas for work assignments when required
