Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of the Project EEHA Execution Plan across all relevant phases.
- Organize and facilitate self-verification training programs for contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct EEHA Kick-Off Meetings (KOM) with suppliers and subcontractors to clarify deliverables.
- Oversee the setup and execution of the Hazardous Area Equipment Register, Competency Matrix, and EEHA Detailed Inspection Report form.
- Coordinate with RPE, Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls, and Telecom departments to manage EEHA compliance.
- Review inspection reports and Hazardous Area Verification Dossiers (HAVDs) submitted by vendors to maintain compliance.
- Manage the ongoing maintenance of HAER, HAVD, and Competency Matrix through construction phase.
- Transfer responsibility to the site team upon completion of vendor inspections and substantial engineering completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of working experience in offshore oil and gas project management and engineering execution (Electrical Engineering focus)
- Recognized EEHA qualifications such as CompEx for NEC (Modules Ex01–Ex04), equivalent certification, or minimum NEC 500 Foundation Certificate
- Proven experience in electrical engineering design and execution for oil and gas projects
- Strong understanding of project and engineering execution strategies, work methods, and processes.
- Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- High awareness of safe working practices for oil and gas facility design through commissioning.
