Key Responsibilities
- Support or lead the delivery of Data Centre Projects from inception through completion, including design development and contract tendering.
- Oversee the construction and commissioning phases of projects, working with Authorities, Consultants, Contractors, and Suppliers.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet required quality standards and review shop drawings for alignment with approved designs.
- Facilitate communication among project team members, contractors, and stakeholders across Design, Progress, Safety, Cost, and Risk Management meetings.
- Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation plans, and monitor/report on all project issues.
- Gather site status updates from discipline leads to prepare comprehensive progress reports, meeting minutes, and project plans.
- Support local authority approvals and ensure compliance with all relevant local laws and industry standards.
- Manage the project handover process to Operations Teams and end users upon commissioning.
Requirements
- Degree in Project Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Project Management within mission-critical facilities.
- Strong leadership and excellent communication skills are essential.
- Clear understanding of commercial and financial processes, including invoicing and approvals.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong time management skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks.
