Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the SoC Diagnostics Technical Lead for DCGPU programs, providing primary local ownership and global technical leadership for silicon and manufacturing quality issues.
- Define and drive the end-to-end diagnostics strategy by translating program and customer requirements into clear execution plans across pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
- Own the diagnostics pre-silicon emulation strategy and planning across software-based and FPGA-based emulation models, including RTL coverage requirements.
- Own the SoC system-level feature validation methodology and planning for diagnostics.
- Drive technical requirements needed to achieve feature coverage and hardware bug capture targets, supporting engineering debug and manufacturing/field health checks.
- Lead complex SoC/system-level investigations (e.g., SLT/Board Production failures, field issues), converging on root cause and corrective action with cross-functional teams.
- Exercise horizontal leadership across validation, ROCm/SW, HW architects, product engineering, and manufacturing to achieve key program milestones.
Requirements
- Solid software methodologies and software design expertise.
- Deep HW/SW technical knowledge.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to interact across multiple teams.
- Technical proficiency to represent design ideas for complex problems with diverse engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Ability to read, review code, understand architecture, and guide engineers in debug.
- Experience in a technical leadership role is preferred.
