Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Caesar II models for pipe stress analysis, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Perform comprehensive stress analyses including stress, deflection, equipment nozzle, flange, fatigue, and blast case checks.
- Develop pipe stress philosophies and critical line lists for projects.
- Review and interpret P&IDs, equipment specifications, and other piping-related documentation.
- Provide technical advice to piping designers based on analysis results and address owner comments promptly.
- Conduct on-site inspections during vessel onboarding to verify as-built conditions and perform visual checks.
- Optimize support loads and generate load restraint summaries for pipe support modelers.
- Issue and review detailed pipe stress analysis reports, including those from external design houses.
- Verify the suitability of primary pipe supports (rest, guide, hold-down, and line stopper types) based on analysis outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in piping engineering or related roles involving similar responsibilities.
- Hands-on experience with Offshore and Shipyard projects, including rig building and shipbuilding activities.
- Proven involvement in FPSO projects with exposure to topsides and marine aspects.
