Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and review complex financial models to evaluate project feasibility, investment returns, and conduct sensitivity/scenario analyses for greenfield, brownfield projects, M&A, and strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on industry landscapes, competitor analysis, and market trends to assess commercial viability.
  • Perform financial and credit analyses, including company/asset valuation using market and transaction comparables, while identifying key risks and potential mitigants in transactions.
  • Provide execution support by evaluating deal structures, highlighting project risks, and coordinating various due diligence workstreams.
  • Prepare high-quality presentation materials on business strategy and live projects for engaging internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Markets/Commercial, Legal, Finance, and Tax to ensure seamless transaction execution.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering.
  • 10 years of professional experience required.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of financial modeling experience in Project Finance, M&A, Valuation, Transaction Advisory, Investment Banking, or Buyside roles.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling techniques/tools, including VBA macros or other Excel add-ins.
  • Strong commercial acumen and advanced analytical skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all outputs.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
