Key Responsibilities
- Act as the technical authority for robotics automation and factory system integration across multiple sites (Singapore, Melaka, Batam).
- Define and drive robotics automation architecture, design standards, and technical best practices.
- Drive integration with factory and manufacturing system platforms, including MCS and Fleet managers for Cobot AMR and OHT.
- Serve as the technical owner for complex automation projects, ensuring solution quality, reliability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues, lead root cause analysis, and drive long term corrective actions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, conduct feasibility studies, and recommend adoption based on technical merit and ROI.
- Act as a key technical interface with equipment vendors, system integrators, and technology partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10–15+ years of experience in the backend semiconductor industry with a strong focus on robotics and automation systems.
- Deep technical expertise in lights out manufacturing, backend processes, WIP flow, and production workflow optimization.
- Strong hands-on experience in system integration, automation architecture, and troubleshooting complex manufacturing systems.
- Proven hands-on experience with equipment load port modifications and robotics hardware, including Cobot AMR, OHT, and stockers.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams through technical leadership.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
