Key Responsibilities
- Maintain document procedures to ensure proper validation, accurate record-keeping, and organized filing of freight invoices and shipping documents
- Maintain the accuracy and compliance of freight invoices in accordance with supporting shipping documents and contractual rates
- Support daily freight operations by handling freight related queries from stakeholders and providing necessary assistance to ensure smooth shipping process
- Monitor and evaluate shipment performance and logistics service provider KPI
- Assist in preparing monthly freight accrual reports
- Monitor and track freight costs to support cost control initiatives and conduct freight cost analysis for reporting
- Handle freight invoice discrepancies and disputes with freight forwarders
- Liaise with Finance for invoice validation and timely payment processing
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma Holder, preferably in Supply Chain, Shipping, Logistics Management or Business Administration
- 1–3 years of relevant working experience in freight logistics, invoice processing and payment processing
- Exposure to logistics coordination or supply chain support is an advantage
- Basic concept and understanding of shipping such as Incoterm
- Willingness to learn ERP systems such as SAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and good organizational skills
- Fluent in English
