Key Responsibilities
- Constantly develop new product launches to increase recurring income.
- Lead day to day bullion purchases, ensure properly hedged off and reconciled.
- Develop trading optionality's in precious metal to optimise margins, namely monitor market liquidity and forward trends and spreads, propose and lock in forward swaps options.
- Responsible for the Lion Bullion P&L to ensure targets are achieved.
- Drive new revenue streams, product innovations, and pricing initiatives with a founder mentality.
- Work with financial/identified partners to expand the Lion Bullion presence.
- Constantly improve the Lion Bullion processes to ensure seamless purchase and customer experience.
- Work with communication team to promote the Lion Bullion image.
- Represent the organization at industry events; deliver market insights and client presentations.
- Translate complex market and risk concepts into clear recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and deliver bullion related projects across Trading, Operations, Technology, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and IT.
- Refresh and update the precious metal news forum in the Lion Bullion website.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, banking related discipline.
- 10+ years in financial services with bullion/precious metals management preferred.
- Proven experience leading a Bullion product launch and delivering large scale product launches.
- Strong understanding of bullion trading, settlement, risk management, and market microstructure.
- Familiarity with treasury systems, trading platforms, settlement systems, and MAS regulations is an advantage.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication; confident with senior stakeholders and clients.
- Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen; comfortable operating in fast moving markets.
