Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic implementation of ASM’s supply chain decarbonization roadmap to support SBTi-verified Net Zero targets.
  • Partner with Global Supply Chain to embed carbon-intensity targets and sustainability criteria into supplier selection, evaluation, and contracting.
  • Drive ASM’s sponsorship of the Schneider Electric Catalyze program, including supplier recruitment and education for renewable energy PPAs.
  • Identify opportunities for Ecodesign and sustainable materials within the product portfolio, focusing on low-carbon and circular procurement.
  • Design and deliver capability-building programs for internal supply chain teams and strategic suppliers on advanced sustainability topics.
  • Lead the SCORE program, acting as a technical advisor to suppliers on renewable energy adoption and carbon-abatement strategies.
  • Develop and maintain ASM’s Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) methodology by linking complex BOM data to verified life-cycle emission factors.
  • Support and guide Supply Chain Sustainability team members to drive effective day-to-day execution.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sustainability and/or supply chain management within high-tech industries (semiconductor, electronics, or capital equipment).
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-stakeholder sustainability programs.
  • Strong influencing skills with experience guiding senior leaders at supplier organizations.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 20%.
