Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with developers to deliver fun and compelling apps and games experiences to customers
- Collaborate with world-class engineers and designers to help them build modern, state-of-the-art apps and games
- Guide developers in leveraging advanced technologies like AI/ML and spatial computing across all Apple platforms
- Help developers understand and adopt best practices for performance, energy efficiency, security, accessibility, and localisation
- Improve developer experiences and services at scale through strategic decision-making and execution
- Engage partners at all levels, from software engineers and product managers to technical and business decision-makers
- Communicate new use cases and emerging developer products and services to developers creatively
- Foster collaboration across international teams to drive developer success
- Represent Apple’s developer relations efforts in the SEA region to strengthen ecosystem engagement
Requirements
- 8+ years in software development
- 5+ years with Swift, Objective-C, or another object-oriented programming language
- Proven track record of delivering products through the full software release lifecycle
- Experience applying best practices for performance optimisation, energy efficiency, security, accessibility, and localisation
- Ability to quickly understand others’ needs and make strategic decisions
- Ability to lead execution to improve developer experiences and services at scale
- Effective and influential communicator to engage partners at all levels
- Fluency in English and a second language such as Vietnamese or Bahasa Indonesian
- Degree in a STEM discipline (e.g., computer science, information technology, math, physics) or equivalent practical experience
- Experience building engaging user experiences with UIKit and SwiftUI
- Experience with AI/ML or spatial computing
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills for international teamwork
- Understanding of emerging developer products, services, and local regulatory situations impacting developer communities
- Creativity to communicate new use cases to developers
