Key Responsibilities
- Implement the EHS management system and policy according to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, RBA requirements, and local safety regulations.
- Serve as the appointed Workplace Safety & Health Officer and ensure the functionality of the factory site safety committee.
- Conduct regular EHS inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations on site.
- Organize and conduct new hire safety orientations and other EHS trainings as per the company plan.
- Partner with manufacturing leads and supervisors in incident investigations, corrective action deployment, and effectiveness evaluations.
- Promote the integration of EHS into business planning and assist in establishing EHS as a key performance measure.
- Assist with the implementation of business continuity plans, emergency response plans, and company audit programs.
- Track, arrange, and renew all necessary equipment, building, and related licenses to maintain governmental compliance.
- Provide support for the site's ESG (sustainability) efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Level Degree in Safety, Environmental, Risk Management, Occupational Hygiene, or equivalent.
- Must hold a Singapore Workplace Safety & Health Officer Certification.
- 5+ years of experience in a large manufacturing facility setting.
- Proven experience with RBA requirements is required.
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
