Key Responsibilities
- Execute engineering maintenance and repair of all utilities and manufacturing equipment serving the entire facility.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on-shift support to maintenance and calibration specialists regarding facility and equipment upkeep.
- Support manufacturing, utility, and engineering services during routine maintenance, shutdowns, and product changeovers.
- Review and technically complete work orders, initiating follow-up actions as necessary.
- Partner with the Project Engineering Team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with Quality and Deviation owners to ensure the timely closure of deviation records and related follow-up actions.
- Develop preventive maintenance procedures to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation compliant with regulatory codes.
- Work with the Reliability team to establish predictive maintenance programs (e.g., Thermal Scanning, Vibration Monitoring).
- Identify root causes of recurring issues to increase equipment Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and reduce Mean Time To Repair (MTTR).
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical/Instrumentation, or Chemical Process Engineering.
- 1-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing is desirable.
- Hands-on maintenance working experience in Pharmaceutical or Chemical manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong background in Operation and Maintenance of production and utility area equipment/instruments is preferred.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and persistence to resolve complex issues.
- Strong concept of cGMP in Maintenance and Calibration areas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with guidance and deliver tasks on time/budget.
