Key Responsibilities
- Leading the execution of valuation engagements for mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, financial reporting, and restructuring.
- Performing independent valuations for businesses, tangible/intangible assets, and financial instruments including equity, debt securities, derivatives, and options.
- Producing and analyzing financial models and assessing commercial data underlying financial forecasts.
- Leading pitches for new work, including proposal preparation and presentation.
- Building and maintaining client relationships before, during, and after engagements.
- Supervising, training, and mentoring associates and interns on valuation services.
- Collaborating with Partners and staff on client management, practice development, and business development.
Requirements
- Ideally more than 5 years of valuation experience acquired within an accounting and/or professional services firm.
- Excellent academic background, preferably with a professional qualification in accounting, finance, CFA, or FRM.
- Strong grasp of business and intangible assets valuation concepts.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and presentation/report writing skills.
- Proficiency in financial instruments valuation is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and develop strong relationships with senior management and Partners.
