Key Responsibilities
- Understands contract terms, schedule of rates, preambles, and defined scope of work.
- Prepares quotations for additional jobs requested by the customer's representative, including those communicated through the Project Manager.
- Prepares detailed work statements outlining the actual work completed for presentation to the customers.
- Understands the work specifications to raise the variation proposal/claims and able to negotiate the submitted variations independently with customer's representatives.
- Compiles Work Completion Forms (WCF) received from Foremen, Engineers and Supervisors, and verifies actual work done against the Specifications.
- Prepares draft bills, invoices, and credit notes in accordance with contract payment terms.
- Travels overseas for work or assignments as required or directed by the immediate supervisor or HOD.
- Performs any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Section Manager.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Naval Architecture / Civil / Marine and Offshore / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer) Class 1 (Motorship), or its equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
