Key Responsibilities
- Manage project work or selected work streams within the Risk and Compliance service line.
- Supervise project teams across strategy, governance, process excellence, regulatory reform, and execution.
- Guide clients through the full lifecycle of project implementation, business process redesign, and solution architecture (including technology/AI integration).
- Collaborate with client business units (Compliance, Risk Management, IT, Legal, Audit) to understand corporate risk processes.
- Define and document complex business specifications for risk platforms, models, and procedures.
- Lead or assist in developing new intellectual capital through leading-edge research and publishing industry articles.
- Maintain client contact, assume leadership in pursuit teams, and contribute to proposal development.
Requirements
- 7-12 years of relevant work experience in Risk & Compliance.
- Essential experience within a consulting or banking firm.
- Deep understanding of Financial and Fraud Risk Management, including AML/KYC processes and governance.
- Expertise in Source of Wealth best practices, Transaction Monitoring, and Payment screening processes.
- Keen awareness of global regulatory requirements and the latest industry developments across Southeast Asia.
- Proven experience in risk model design, including requirements for enhancements to detect modern typologies.
- Experience designing business and technical requirements incorporating AI/ML solutions and necessary guardrails.
- Proven track record in project delivery, change management, and controls design/testing.
