Key Responsibilities
- Translate Apple products into Thai, utilizing internal tools to identify localization impacts.
- Monitor, report, and resolve bugs found in localized software.
- Ensure terminology consistency across all Apple products and services for the Thai market.
- Assist with quick-turnaround translations under tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure smooth and on-schedule processes.
- Identify opportunities for tools and process enhancements in the localization workflow.
- Use unreleased software builds to check and verify localization quality.
- Maintain style guides and language glossaries for the Thai market.
Requirements
- Native or accredited fluency in Thai to support the Thai-speaking market.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken) for translation between English and Thai.
- Degree in Applied Linguistics, Translation, Culture & Literature, or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience with CAT tools and translating UI for high-end software products.
- Excellent writing, partnership, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Deep knowledge of Thai culture gained through sustained exposure.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
