  • Solid understanding and practical experiences in mechanism design and analysis, with exposure to serial and parallel kinematic mechanisms
  • Working knowledge of precision machine design principles, and the ability to apply them effectively in engineering contexts
  • Familiar with solidwork/solidedge and other CAD software
  • Familiar with Finite Element Analysis
  • Knowledge of commercially available automation components/module/system and ready automation solutions, coupled with the skill to search for solutions
  • Experience working in cross-disciplinary teams (e.g., electrical, controls, software)
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and industrial standards
  • Prior exposure to industry-academic collaboration or R&D environments
