Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and document solutions that meet customer requirements while maintaining the integrity of the System functional baseline and architecture.
- Define solutions that optimize trade-offs between requirements, cost, schedule, and risk to meet customer needs.
- Ensure transversal constraints such as Safety, Human Factor, Performance, and Security are considered in the design.
- Proactively participate in internal and customer technical reviews and working groups to define technical solutions.
- Prepare Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Problem Change Requests (PCRs).
- Develop and manage requirement traceability using DOORS, covering Functional, Allocated, and Product baselines.
- Provide technical oversight to development Squads, ensuring implementation aligns with design constraints regarding schedule, cost, and quality.
- Identify risks and propose effective solutions early, executing mitigation actions as necessary.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of proven experience in Systems Engineering (Requirements, Design, Integration, Verification, and Validation).
- Experience with Systems Engineering Standards, e.g., ISO/IEC15288.
- Proven experience in the ATM Domain and related standards (e.g., ICAO, Eurocontrol).
- Experience developing products in various methodologies, with a focus on iterative/agile development.
- Familiarity with Safety, Security, and Human Factors standards and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to succeed in a multidiscipline, multicultural environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
