Key Responsibilities

  • Provide physical characterization for drug substances (API) to influence primary and secondary manufacturing process optimization.
  • Review and improve physical properties analytical methods, procedures, and standards according to pharmacopoeial requirements.
  • Generate and interpret physical properties data to support comparability studies, material changes, and root cause analysis in deviations.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all analyses, including SOPs, work instructions, and raw data, compliant with GMP and GLP.

  • Supervise and train interns to ensure good work practices, data quality, and support personnel development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Materials Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in a different role/industry.
  • Must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
  • Sound knowledge of physical properties characterization techniques.
  • Understanding of primary and secondary manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to work in a laboratory environment focusing on analytical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
