Key Responsibilities
- Act as the technical subject matter expert for a comprehensive range of industrial automation products, including PLCs, SCADA, DCS, Industrial Networks, and Operations Software
- Collaborate with the sales team to design and propose complex, value-driven solutions
- Move beyond simple product selling to conceptualize integrated systems involving digital transformation like Digital Twins, Predictive Maintenance, and OT Cybersecurity, intelligent manufacturing etc.
- Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to demonstrate feasibility and value to prospective clients
- Conduct in-depth market analysis of the industrial landscape to identify emerging trends, key players, and untapped sectors
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to penetrate new verticals
- Map out where we should win, not just how the product works
- Translate technical features into compelling business propositions
- Create high-level strategic presentations (PPT) that speak to C-level stakeholders, focusing on ROI, operational efficiency, and long-term digitalization roadmaps
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computing, Industrial system or related fields)
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in the Industrial Automation or Engineering sector
- Strong understanding of the Industrial Automation market in Singapore
- Familiarity with key players and established player dynamics
- Solid conceptual knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and Industrial Networking
- Experience with Industry 4.0 solutions (Digital Twin, Cyber Security) is a distinct advantage
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and understand the 'business why' behind technical specifications
- Excellent capability in crafting professional, persuasive presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Excel & AI tools for market segmentation and pipeline analysis
