Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for reconciliation activities across APAC exchanges supported from Singapore, which include: Oversight of reconciliation activities
  • Manage sub-ledger corrections

  • MIS reporting
  • Break management and escalation
  • Investigate breaks and issues raised
  • Continuous Improvement of the Operating Environment with regards to Straight-Through-Processing, Risk and Control
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders to support strategy and policies, including new business initiatives, development and implementation of new processes and controls
  • Ensure compliance of reconciliation operations to internal policies and relevant rules and regulations
  • Engage with Operation and Technology teams, including Global Business Services (GBS), to ensure smooth reconciliation operations
  • Owning risk agenda for ETD, including governance, control and process reviews

Requirements

  • Excellent communication, effective with peers and senior management
  • Strength in identifying and implementing solutions for process improvement
  • Attention to details and strong analytical abilities to interpret and resolve complex issues and queries
  • Promote collaboration within Global Market Operations to achieve desired results as a group
  • Proficient in exchange traded derivatives and related client money regulations
  • Futures industry experience working for a FCM, Exchange, Clearing House or Regulator
  • Experience using Sungard GMI system is preferred, as well as experience with reconciliation systems
