Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of RSTO’s environmental site and corporate SHE programs, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste management.
- Prepare and submit compliance documentation such as mandatory waste reporting, waste manifests, and e-consignment records.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement procedures that minimize environmental risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Participate in the Workplace Safety & Health Committee and support site activities for safety awards and best practices.
- Conduct field walk-downs for PSSR and HAZOP reviews, following up on required action items.
- Coordinate internal and external SHE audits and inspections to ensure site compliance with all requirements.
- Maintain and update the site JSA/Risk Assessment registry and SHE Training Matrix.
- Promote SHE matters to all personnel and contractors through visual aids and promotional materials.
Requirements
- Degree in Life Sciences or Engineering discipline or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of related working experience for degree holders or equivalent combination.
- Interest in sustainability issues and safety.
- Good computer skills, attention to detail, and analytical ability.
- Applicable knowledge of safety, facility operations, and emergency response (chemical, medical, fire).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple programs and timelines, including service contractors.
