Key Responsibilities
- Act as a team manager or individual contributor on GRC advisory/consulting projects and internal audits for financial services clients.
- Plan and deliver engagements, managing stakeholders, timelines, and budgets effectively.
- Review, design, or help implement new frameworks, methodologies, processes, and controls for advisory engagements.
- Oversee walk-through interviews and tailor audit/review procedures (including data analytics) to evaluate control design and operating effectiveness.
- Review and recommend improvements to processes, risk management frameworks, and governance to address control gaps.
- Guide and supervise junior staff in the execution of assigned work.
- Develop high-quality report deliverables, including findings, using clear and concise business writing.
- Present review findings confidently to engagement teams and client stakeholders in status update and closing meetings.
- Support business development efforts, such as preparing proposals and client meeting materials.
Requirements
- A good Degree in Business, Accountancy, Finance, Information Technology, Risk Management, Data Science, Psychology/Behavioural Science, or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years of operational risk management, risk consulting, compliance, or internal/external audit experience.
- Experience gained within Big 4 firms or financial services organizations.
