Key Responsibilities
- Manage the 3D model controlled at Engineering, with modeling carried out across overseas satellite offices.
- Set up and manage the AVEVA MARINE / E3D / HEXAGON SMART3D Enterprise system for projects according to company procedures.
- Develop and implement project-specific Catalogues and Specifications for Piping, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines within the 3D software.
- Monitor the integrity of the global work share database and ensure proper information transfer to other IT systems.
- Develop project-specific modeling procedures and conduct training for multi-discipline end-users on 3D modeling requirements.
- Collaborate with project discipline leads to automate tasks, develop drawing templates, macros, and system interfaces.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges related to the 3D modeling software and escalate issues to vendor support when necessary.
- Coordinate actively with overseas offices executing multi-location projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in CAD Systems Administration for Shipbuilding, Oil & Gas, and Offshore projects.
- In-depth experience with AVEVA MARINE / Hexagon Smart3D, including knowledge of all relevant modules.
- Familiarity with the FEED and Detailed Engineering phases of offshore projects.
