Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage hybrid cloud observability and monitoring platforms (on-prem and AWS).
- Implement alerting and metrics dashboards across multiple environments and services.

- Design and maintain sophisticated custom dashboards using Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Enable long-term log retention and archiving strategies using S3 and ELK.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define observability standards and optimize performance monitoring.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and ELK.
- Strong understanding of metrics collection, logging pipelines, and alerting frameworks.
- Experience managing monitoring in hybrid (on-prem and cloud) environments.
- Familiarity with containerized workloads (Kubernetes, Docker) and microservices monitoring.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) for observability automation.
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar for custom automation or data parsing.
