Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all activities related to piping systems towards the targeted commissioning schedule
- Review P&ID, ISO diagrams, and test pack boundaries
- Able to develop N2 He test packs for process piping and able to discuss with client /subcontractors and surveyors
- Plan for daily testing activities and guide site team to perform test as per the procedures
- System design review in line with project specifications and class requirement
- Lead the team for carrying out N2 He test for the FPSO and develop schedule for completing the schedule
- Arrange for facilities, equipment's and instruments for the job and co-ordinate the testing with sub-contractors, safety, clients and yard personals
- Take necessary precautions to ensure the work site is safe for testing/ commissioning
- Provide supervision and deploy manpower to perform the operational tasks
- Ensure incoming equipment meet the purchase specifications
- Coordinate for any required joint inspections
- Arrange for protection and maintenance of equipment and system
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, or shutdown operations, with proven expertise in N₂/He leak testing
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic pressure testing and leak detection techniques in offshore/onshore environments
- Familiarity with FPSO hook-ups, pipeline purging, and hot-oil flushing
- Relevant certifications (API or equivalent) and training in gas handling and safety systems
