Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize plant availability and reliability by following SOPs and meeting customer contract requirements and NEA discharge or water product specifications
  • Coordinate with customers’ control rooms on compliance of water/wastewater flow and quality
  • Enforce HSE and manage all maintenance works within the plant through PTW and physical inspection
  • Follow and enforce SOPs/SWPs at all times when working in the plant
  • Perform first line maintenance tasks such as comparing portable and online measurements and topping up demineralized water for TOC analyzer
  • Raise maintenance notifications via SAP whenever an equipment fault is observed
  • Fill out log sheets, shift reports, and daily reports accurately
  • Carry out plant mechanical routine duties diligently, including housekeeping within plant premises
  • Perform plant sampling and measurement duties in a timely and accurate manner
  • Highlight low inventory of chemicals and logistics to the Operation Engineer

Requirements

  • ITE or Diploma with knowledge of Water/Wastewater treatment (advantageous)
  • Experience in plant operations relating to Water/Wastewater treatment
  • Valid driving license as required to commute between plants on Jurong Island
  • Hardworking attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good team player able to deliver results within tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Alertness to any unusual phenomena occurring in the plant
  • Prioritization of safety and zero off-spec discharge
  • Willingness to be trained and certified by Process and Engineering teams
  • Willingness to feedback and discuss with Operations and Process Engineering teams for troubleshooting and plant improvement
  • Independent work ethic with a positive attitude
