Key Responsibilities

  • Interface with Design Engineering team for the release of new products (NPI) into Manufacturing
  • Involve in product Enhancement/CIP and evaluate design for manufacturability and reliability through design reviews and prototype assembly
  • Apply 7-step trouble-shooting methodology, driving learning and standardization where appropriate
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize Cycle time and quality issues
  • Create ECOs (Engineering Change Orders), structure BOMs, and generate test/assembly documentation
  • Provide fly and fix support on field escalations, offering in-depth analysis and resolution
  • Systematically analyze technical issues and Infant Mortality issues to propose standardized solutions
  • Generate and maintain process/equipment work instructions, drawings, and production documents to specification
  • Respond to failure analysis, providing comprehensive reports and implementing corrective actions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D in Mechanical / Mechatronics or related field
  • 0-1 years of relevant work experience (Entry level graduates welcomed)
  • Ability to develop test benches for diagnosing electronics/noise issues causing system failure
  • Understand the working principle of complex electro-mechanical assemblies in high precision defect inspection equipment
  • Good understanding of Pneumatics, Computers, controls systems, and sensors in Electro Mechanical stages/Robots
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to support technical issues, set up experiments, and perform data analysis
  • Ability to read technical drawings, understand BOMs, and use precision testing/measuring instruments
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven with a keen technical mind, positive attitude, and strong team player mentality
  • Up to 25% international travel may be expected
