Key Responsibilities
- Summary As a Chemist , you will primary own and drive analytical and materials characterization to support digital print applications.
- Lead analytical analysis investigations into ink-related development and manufacturing issues , connecting formulation chemistry, material behavior, and process conditions to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Represent the formulation and materials characterization function in cross-functional projects, with opportunities to act as a technical or project lead for complex initiatives.
Requirements
- You will be expected to operate with a high degree of independence, exercise sound scientific judgment, and influence technical direction through data-driven insights.
- Partner closely with ink manufacturing, R&D, and laboratory teams to support process development, scale-up readiness, qualification activities, and technology introduction.
- Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess: • PHD or Masters degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or a related field.
- Typically, 5+ years of experience in analytical chemistry or material characterization, ideally applied to complex chemical or materials systems in ink or materials development in a related industrial environment.
- Strong foundation in chemical formulation principles, or the ability to apply analytical insight to formulation-driven systems , with strong experimental design, and data interpretation.
- Experience applying analytical, experimental, or characterization methods to understand chemical or materials systems in R&D or manufacturing contexts.
